How We Help
Silbo is an impact-led
design company [and a language]
“Silbo is an Island language dating from the 16th century consisting of four vowels, four consonants, and over 400 words, all through whistling. A speaker of Silbo is often referred to as a Silbador.
When related to the design process, we allow the unseen to be seen and use proven methodologies to create value.
We are a collective of specialists each with our own areas of expertise often with our own companies that run in parallel. We are always looking for like minded people to collaborate with, if you are interested in working with us please get in touch.
CHALLENGES WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON WITH OUR CLIENTS
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® was used as the primary method to facilitate the discussion between the team members around what the legacy of the Seascapes project might be.
We were asked to deliver a series of workshops to a cohort of new startup companies. This involved exploring things like; Lean startup, Business Modelling, Value Proposition modelling, and the use of design sprints.
The Yohlar programme is a first-of-its-kind, level 6 qualification in business model innovation to incorporate LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and Design Thinking.
EMPATHY & IMPACT
We use the term “empathetic design” as we feel that empathy should be the key element in any design process. Our aim is to bring creativity and our multi-disciplinary design ethic to all organizations regardless of size.
We also use the term “Impact Driven” as we feel that outcomes should guide the process and not the other way around. We also feel that creativity can be taught, nurtured and refined, it may need the right environment to flourish and we can help with that as well.
Our commitment to this empathetic / impact driven approach means that we work with our clients to help identify, clarify and codify their aims and objectives, and then help them achieve them in the best way possible using a range of different methods.
